Treasure Hunt x Adventures in Brooklyn
My endless quest for the perfect shirt and perfect pair of shoes continues as I unearth vintage gems. My first discovery was at the Williamsburg Flea Market. That day, I wore the skorts I scored in Bentonville and a vintage sheer chiffon top I found in Nashville. As I searched through the multitude of vendors, I saw a parrot print button down for only $20. Later, I paired this beauty with my vintage mini-pleated shorts and clogs for a 40s-inspired look that made me want to take a stroll down the boardwalk.

Stella Dallas is one of my usual go-to spots for the best deal in town. You have to dig a little, but there are a lot of gems in there. The free-loving 60s spirit in me gravitated towards a tie-dye tank top, teal stone-washed shorts, and a cardigan with crocheted daisies. Though I probably won’t be styling this outfit together outside of the store, I’m in love with the playful attitude that each of these will bring to my wardrobe.

Next, I strolled into Seven Wonders Vintage on Manhattan Avene in Williamsburg and my eyes were immediately drawn to a printed tube dress from the 70s with an elastic band at the top. It is lightweight and comfortable; perfect for a hot summer day in New York City! I like the idea of pairing this dress with a printed sneaker to mix patterns.
